Facilities and Equipment:
Inner State Beauty School is
situated in a conveniently located shopping center. The school is set up
with modern styling equipment, has a standard clinic area for the
student to receive customers, a facial room, a student lounge, a staff
lounge, lockers, laundry room, supply room, two theory rooms, junior room,
nail technician room, esthetician room and senior practice room,
instructor's office and admission’s office.

from both Beachwood Mall & Richmond Mall near the corner of Richmond and

Attire:
All students are required to
wear solid black pants with solid black shoes. A top preferably
white, with a collar and short or long sleeved. A uniform smock
will be provided when you begin classes.

Licensing and Graduation
Requirements: All
hours required for the course(s) enrolled must be completed. The student
must maintain a cumulative grade average of at least 75% and complete all tests,
projects and assignments. All amounts owed to the school must be paid in full.
Every student must take the Ohio State Board examination to become licensed in
the state of Ohio. Students pay their own state board exam and registration
fees.

Course Schedules:
All programs must be completed by the student within the period of time
prescribed by NACCAS, The Ohio State Board of Cosmetology and Inner State
Beauty School.

Admission
Requirements:
In order to be
admitted into any course at Inner State the applicant must be at least sixteen
(16) years of age; Have a high school diploma or an equivalent.
Equivalents include a GED, or an Ability to Benefit Test and have transcripts
from your high school sent to Inner State. If a class becomes full we will put
you on the start list to begin with the next available opening.

Ability To Benefit: A student lacks a
high school diploma or its equivalent may enter school using an Ability
to Benefit test and has the ability to benefit from the education or
training offered at an institution. Passing the exam does not
qualify as 10th grade level, nor does scoring within the range of the
10th grade. The student must have a score that clearly shows completion
of the 10th grade on any approved ATB test to qualify to take the state
board exam and to attend school here. A test is administered by an
independent approved tester. This test is administered by the testing
center across from Cleveland State University.
